Gavin Dunlop is our centre manager for 2011.  Windsurfing is in the blood with the Dunlop family (Their dad is a wavesailing fanatic!) but the lads are all surfers through choice. Gavin got back in touch with his windsurfing roots this year and last through teaching and a windy summer of wavesailing and dabbled with the art of stand up paddling just to round things off. Gavin leads our team for 2011!

 

Jamie Beese

Jamie Beese is one of our long suffering windsurfing instructors. Again a local lad from Tiree, Jamie learnt to windsurf through the Tiree Windsurfing Club. Jamie enjoys surfing and stand up paddleboarding but this year started getting into windsurfing in waves. He is now a confessed wave junky getting into the waves by whatever means possible, regardless of the wind conditions! Currently in Edinburgh University, we hope to have Jamie on the job again for 2012!

Additionally we provide water sports retail advice for clients who wish to shop with us for their equipment. We also hire surfboards, body boards & sandyachts as alternative activities. More recently we have opened a campsite on Tiree to cater for all campers who may wish to visit the island. Wild Diamond is owned and managed by Willy & Kirsty MacLean. Between the two of them they have 25 years teaching experience in adrenaline watersports!
