With pretty strong and steady conditions Willy was on a 4.5m2 Simmer Black Tip and 69 litre tabou pocket wave while Tim opted for a smaller/bigger combo of 4.0m2 and 78 litre tabou pocket. Waves were in the 6′ to 8′ range over the course of the session with temperatures not bad for the time of year but definitely dropping!

Yes this is Tiree and we have not jetted off somewhere hot and sunny just yet! This is just a sample of what we have been getting, kite wise, for almost the last fortnight now on kites between 9.0m2 and 7.0m2 sizes and warying wave heights…

Here is a taster! It was landed apparently!

This was just one of a number of classic days that we had during the September/October period this year. The sequence was taken at Balephuil in the south west corner of Tiree. I was on a 3.7m2 sail and 75 litre quad with cross off wind and head to head and a half high surf.
